The water off Sister Bay can turn to silk at sunset. On evenings like this, the air softens, the horizon glows, and the sails of the Edith M. Becker pick up every bit of the sky’s warmth. The schooner moves slowly across the bay, her red canvas catching the last light of day as if it were painted just for her.

The Edith M. Becker is a 65-foot schooner built in the spirit of the 19th-century Great Lakes traders that once worked these waters. Today she sails from Sister Bay with Sail Door County, inviting guests to experience the timeless rhythm of the wind. Those aboard can hoist the lines, take the helm, or simply sit back and watch the shoreline slip by. The experience feels both ancient and new, a reminder that some of the best journeys still depend on nothing more than wind and trust.

Sunsets here are never the same twice. Some fade soft and golden, others set the whole bay ablaze before giving way to twilight. Locals gather along the docks, visitors linger on the shore, and laughter drifts over the calm water. As the Edith M. Becker glides past, her sails mirror the sky, carrying with them a quiet promise that calm seas and bright horizons often follow the glow of an evening well spent.

All prints are of museum quality and printed in The USA. Canvas Prints are wrapped around a hardwood frame to prevent long-term wrapping and utilize a 0.75" thick wrap.
